Pinterest Post: It's happened!

I have been hearing on Facebook, blogs and pretty much everywhere really that Pinterest is the new THING and that if you haven't tried it yet you just have to do so immediately. I asked someone about it and they said that it's basically a sight where you can look at photos and ideas people have and like them or "repin" them. In short, it sounded lame to me.
Well, the other day I was bored...I mean really bored so I decided to try the sight out and now, I'm hooked!! I mean it's so bad that I find time to pin things before bed, on my lunch break at work. It is so sad. But I just love it. The pictures, seeing what your friends like and are interested in, it's addicting. Here are some of the pics from my pinterest sight. My Style: A New Chapter...

I've begun a new chapter in my life. I have a new job and a new outlook on life. I love having a reason to wake up and get dressed in the morning. It really does bring me inspiration. For the couple of months that I did not have a job I had absolutely no inspiration to get dressed just to sit around the house but now that I do I love going through my closet looking for interesting ways to wear things. Here is an outfit that I wore from this week at work. As an administrative assistant I mostly sit at a desk but I also work on a rather large campus so I sometimes have to walk to different buildings, so it's important to wear comfortable clothing, especially shoes. My first week working I wore these oxford shoes and they gave me blisters on both feet. It was so painful! But thankfully I recovered and am back to normal (mostly lol).

Here are some pics of one of the outfits I wore to work this week. I felt so preppy I almost wanted to throw out an "AS IF!" for good measure but being at work, I refrained. Enjoy!

Also, I am on the hunt for a new bag so keep a look out and let me know if you see anything good. I did find one that I a dying over but I'm just not sure it's in my price range. This is the bag, it's the Zara shopper tote and it is beyond perfect. Even fashionistas like Olivia Palermo are wearing them. Here are the pics. Yeah...go ahead and drool lol.

I love how it turns Olivia's casual outfit into a trendsetting one. And it might also have something to do with the gorgeous guy next to her lol.

My Style: One year ago I said yes...best decision I ever made

I recently celebrated my one year anniversary with my boyfriend and it was such a good night. We made reservations at this restaurant at TPC Sawgrass and when he got off work we headed there. The food was amazing!! And the atmosphere was great. We decided to go on our actual anniversary August 23 (yes I'm really late in putting these up) which was a Tuesday, but it worked out great because the restaurant was not that crowded and we got to just enjoy our time quietly with each other. After dinner we debated doing something else, like a movie, but since it was getting late and he had work we just decided to extend our anniversary celebration another day and see a movie the next evening. We ended up seeing Rise of the Planet of the Apes (I'll write a review of it soon) and had a blast.
So here are some pics of the outfit I wore for dinner. The pants were so long! I was wearing major heels and the pants still hit the floor. But I liked the overall look.

In other news, I finally got a new job!! I'm working at Mayo Clinic and so far I love it! I've been trying to get pics of my work outfits but I go to the gym in the mornings and then come home, rush to get dressed and race to work. But we'll see I might have to make time for it.

Well, I'm headed to my uncle's house to lay by the pool and grill out and then I might go with the boyfriend to watch his beloved Michigan football team at Buffalo Wild Wings. We'll see though (you know how I feel about football) but wings do sound good...hmm decisions decisions. I'll let you know! Have a great Saturday!!
